SJP was born in May 1994 when Wayne launched our very first publication, Image Reports magazine. The name Saint John Patrick Publishers was created as a personal tribute to a great friend and mentor of Wayne's. John Patrick Diffley was an inspiration and will never be forgotten. Wayne has a wealth of experience, having first moved into publishing 38 years ago, which means he qualifies as one of the official elder statesmen of the industry. Outside his family, Wayne's other passion is playing tennis as often as he can.

Lesley has been writing about the print sector for 35 years now. Having graduated from London University to 'pasting-up' advertisements for Yellow Advertiser Group magazines and spending long hours at typesetters and printers proofing galleys and passing pages, Lesley migrated to writing about the print sector. She started out in the 1980s as a novice reporter on the long gone New in Printing magazine before becoming a news hack. She then followed this as news/features editor of PrintWeek (then LithoWeek!) where she also had the dubious pleasure of editing one of the first trade show 'dailies'. For the last 22 years she has edited print trade publications for SJP, where she has edited Image Reports for the last 15 years.
